B0b's Keyboards is Closed

B0b's keyboards will be closing effective 10/22/26.

This has both been a long time coming but also a very abrupt decision that I made during lunch today. It stems from a short essay rant that I posted on the 40s discord server.

In short, I can't separate the hard and arduous part of running a keyboard shop/ selling keyboard designs and products from the fun part of designing cool keyboards for me and others. This has led me down the path of creating things and selling services that I do not enjoy one bit, all to push forward my keyboard shop, to reach new people and hopefully one day only build/ do things that I want to do. This at least was my thought at the time of starting my shop, and the couple of months that followed.

I first opened the shop at the start of July, and quickly after that, had my first commissions flowing in.

• Commissions completed: 2 builds
• PCBs designed: 4 boards
• PCBs shipped: 5 sets

It was a fun journey, and I thank each and everyone of my customers from the bottom of my heart.
